Main Hall

The 1,165 sqm "Großer Saal" (Main Hall) is unique venue and the jewel in the crown of the International Congress Center Dresden. Where else would you have the opportunity to attend a conference in a building inspired by the gently winding path of the River Elbe? Mobile partitions in the "Großer Saal" (Main Hall) as well as a large foyer provide plenty of space for registration and reception as well as coffee breaks and exhibitions. With a ceiling height of 10 metres and deliveries of up to 40 tons possible (roller shutter dimensions: 4.70 m wide, 5 m high), the hall is suitable for hosting just about any kind of event in a unique atmosphere. State-of-the-art conference equipment is provided, including a pre-configured lighting system with analogue lighting circuit and moving head spotlights and a stage with an 80 sqm fixed platform (16x5 m), 5x5 m load-bearing platform and 2 movable stage platforms (3.5x19 m and 3.5x21 m). A flexible stage back wall with hard or soft top, cable inlet and media connectors for outside broadcast vehicles are also provided. Your participants can surf the Internet with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. On the same floor there are five additional bright, air-conditioned halls, some of which can be interconnected, which you can use for group work, parallel sessions or as an exhibition space.

Hall 3

"Saal 3" (Hall 3) is ideal for hosting commercial and cultural events, such as concerts, dinner shows, gala events, sporting events or customer receptions. With no pillars, the function room is suitable for use as an assembly hall for up to 613 people (seated in rows). Thanks to the flexible partition system, "Saal 2" (Hall 2) can easily be combined with "Saal 3" (Hall 3) to create a single room. With two control booths with audio, video and network matrix switcher, induction loops for hearing-impaired persons as well as the state-of-the-art light and sound technology already installed, you have everything you need to stage an unforgettable event.

Hall 1

The spacious interior of "Saal 1" (Hall 1) provides space for up to 426 people. You can book individual rooms on the hall floor and take advantage of the flexible interconnection options to create a single space that is tailored to the specific needs of your guests. The large glass façade running along the side of the room connects the indoor and outdoor spaces and provides magnificent views over the Elbe. "Saal 1" (Hall 1) is equipped with a full range of technical equipment. It is the ideal setting for motor shows, roadshows, concerts, corporate or evening events.

Hall 4

"Saal 4" (Hall 4) is located on the hall floor of the International Congress Center Dresden. Thanks to a flexible partition system, this room can be expanded to incorporate "Saal 5" (Hall 5). On its own, "Saal 4" (Hall 4) can accommodate between 88 and 478 people, depending on the event. Guests can enjoy spectacular views over the Elbe, and can hold meetings, chat or celebrate in a space bathed in natural light or darkened as required. Flexible equipment and layout options give event organisers the freedom that they need to bring their ideas to life.

Hall 2

With 475 sqm of floor space, "Saal 2" (Hall 2) is the perfect setting for groups of up to 433 people. We can furnish the room in a style to suit your particular event. To ensure that your event runs smoothly, "Saal 2" (Hall 2) is equipped with state-of-the-art audio, video and presentation technology. Spotlights, a lighting concept and a lighting desk are provided to ensure the best possible lighting for your event. Complimentary Wi-Fi and various suspension points (2.50x2.50 m grid) are also provided. Interpreting facilities and a selection of lecterns are on hand should you need them. Should you require any IT solutions in addition to the standard equipment provided in the rooms, we will be happy to advise you.

Conference Room 6

With its flexible room layout, "Konferenz 6" (Conference Room 6) can be set up to meet the specific requirements of your event. Located on the conference floor of the International Congress Center Dresden, the 286 sqm function room features state-of-the-art conference equipment and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. The room can also be completely darkened and has adjustable air conditioning. You can choose from a variety of table and seating arrangements to suit your event, including U-shaped for meetings, classroom-style for seminars or round banquet tables for private functions. Conference 1

Located in the centre of the conference floor you will find "Konferenz 1" (Conference Room 1), a bright and airy room that can accommodate up to 190 people. The room can be darkened if required and has a permanently installed stage (7x2 m), making it ideal for talks and presentations. Warm colours, carpeting and clean lines make the room feel modern, yet at the same time welcoming. The glass façade gives you the feeling of being right in the heart of the city. The adjoining foyer is suitable for a variety of uses, including small exhibitions or catering, for example.
