The first honey from the beehives at the hotel ...

2024
The ProTomorrow project supported a local beekeeper while also aiming to teach children about bees, honey and the work of a beekeeper.
In cooperation with the Grund- und Gemeinschaftsschule Timmendorfer Strand, the hotel organised a visit to the beehives. The pupils were able to taste honey directly from the honeycomb and watch young bees emerge from their cells.

As part of the certification process, an independent certification body reviews documented evidence and conducts an on-site audit to determine whether the hotel meets the requirements of the GreenSign Hotel Standard.
